About Krishak Pathshala
Jharkhand government has announced to start Samekit Birsa Gram Vikas Yojana (Krishak Pathshala) 2023 during his Independence Day speech on 15 August 2021. The state govt. led by Chief Minister Hemant Soren will launch a new agriculture scheme for the welfare of the state’s farmers.
The concept of Krishak Pathshala (Model Farm) and Birsa gram (Cluster of villages near Krishak Pathshala) has been framed by the Jharkhand government to increase the production and productivity of the agriculture sector and to demonstrate advanced agricultural technology in the state agricultural fields. This will facilitate ―learning by seeing approach for the farmers from cluster of nearby Birsa grams. All activities related to agriculture will be put together for demonstrative purposes, for facilitating scientific methods of learning. Each pathshala will be connected with 7-8 Birsa villages under cluster approach. Supply chain, custom hiring center and market linkage facility will be made available to the produced goods through Krishak Pathshala. The Department of Agriculture, Animal Husbandry and Fisheries will train the farmers in scientific methods on capacity announced opment and perception through Krishak Patshala which is being operationalized across the state. All the schemes run by the government will be converged. To increase the agricultural production and increase the income of the farmers, it is necessary to develop the capacity of the farmers, under which they can do farming with modern farming techniques. Krishak Pathshala will become the communication Centre of this new farming culture.
CM Hemant Soren Launched in 2022 New Scheme which name , titled Samekit Birsa Gram Vikas Yojana cum Krishak Pathshala. In the first phase of the scheme allotted 17 Krishak Farm for Execution of project after some time allotted again second phase 26 Krishak Farm and third Phase Allotted 14 Krishak Farm for Krishak Pathshala Execution now total allotted 57 Krishak Farm in all over Jharkhand for Samekit Birsa Gram Vikas Yojana cum Krishak Pathshala Execution.
Each district will be provided with the following things:-
- Various state-of-the-art technologies
- Tools of modern-day farming for horticulture, livestock rearing and pisci culture New irrigation techniques
Through Jharkhand Samekit Birsa Gram Vikas Yojana, the farmers will also be provided training and will be empowered to increase their incomes.
1. Key components of the Projects
Model cropping system with solar pump-driven drip irrigation and mulching activities along with multi-purpose & multiple farm ponds, poly house, solar-powered cold storage etc. Development of demonstration models in Krishak Pathshala for High-Value Agriculture, Horticulture, Livestock, Fisheries etc.
Establishment of farm-gate infrastructure and infrastructure for Goatery, Poultry, Cattle, Piggery, Mushroom Cultivation, Apiculture units etc.
To train, capacitate and educate 750 farmers, a minimum of 4 training days per farmer from Birsa Grams present in the catchment of the Krishak Pathshala about integrated farming practices.
